American painter Nathan Ritterpusch has some amazing work, but these two very abstract, very blurred out oil paintings are my favorite. I love the way he has twisted and distorted portraits by overlaying arcs. While the coloring is different for each painting, I get a very vintage, retro feel from his use of color. All told, I’d totally hang these in my (imaginary) sun-drenched, all-white loft apartment.
