I’m not exactly the world’s best crafter… if anything, Gwen is the craftiest one here at Jojotastic HQ. She’s the expert when it comes to all the essentials that a crafter would want. I curated this gift guide with her in mind!
While I absolutely love styling a table with flowers, sometimes I can’t make it to the flower market. Or I find that I want to have a centerpiece for a few days, rather than just one evening for a dinner party. I usually decide to forgo the flowers and instead create a centerpiece that showcases the warm glow of pillar candles and tealights. Recently I put together this centerpiece and added a few more special touches: moss, crystals, and one amazing, oversized geode. The result is pure twinkly magic.
Last year around this time we did DIY-ed cinnamon stick himmeli to make natural decorations inspired by traditional Finnish ornaments. This year we’re taking things up a notch and making a full garland of them! Perfect for hanging above the mantel or on your front door, this project uses a few things that might already be hiding in your pantry to invite festivities and natural elements into your space.

I’m so excited about this, you guys — I teamed up with the folks at eBay to share my guide for adding a personal touch to your holiday gift wrapping!
I absolutely adore finding the perfect gift for everyone on my list. I really take the time to think long and hard about what will be most meaningful for each recipient. But beyond finding the perfect gift, I also love thoughtfully wrapping it in a unique, special way. In the weeks leading up to the holidays, I’m often found thinking up creative ways to wrap presents. My latest idea for adding a personal touch is wrapping my gifts using sewn together pieces of paper! Get the step by step instructions here.
Nothing elevates a quick updo like a pretty hair accessory! With holiday party season quickly approaching, we wanted to make somethin’ a little special to accessorize with — plus, we’ve been dying to incorporate some smaller crystals into a wearable piece! Not only is this DIY super easy, but it also makes for a great last-minute gift. I love how the citrine, amethyst, and quartz hair comb looks in Joanna’s messy bun!
Here in #mytinybungalow things have been getting more and more festive and I’m just so. freaking. excited. about it. I want to share it all with you! Remember when I used to do monthly flower arranging tutorials?? Despite always being my most favorite projects, they somehow fell off of my radar… until now! I’m bringing ’em back and today I’m sharing how I used dried flowers, mini twinkly lights, and white pumpkins for a super simple, eye catching centerpiece for fall or Thanksgiving.
Around here, we don’t always go for the traditional spooky jack-o-lantern. Instead, we’re more about putting a creative, boho twist on our Halloween decor. This year, instead of carving a traditional scary scowl, we’re celebrating the end of October in true boho-chic chic style. We headed over to NW Crystals to look for inspiration and found these gorgeous agate geodes. The concentric rings reminded us of a spiderweb design and glowed beautifully when lit from behind — just the thing for our free spirited jack-o-lantern!
