Happy heart day! How sweet are these settings created by Vogue for all of your various Valentines? Each place setting is quirky, cute, and just plain lovely, with helpful hints like throwing a picnic when spending v-day with your little one or considering the three Cs when dining with your long-time love (candlelight, cocktails, and Casablanca, naturally). How will you be spending the evening?

first look : plümo

Hot off the presses, here’s a first look at the Spring 2013 lookbook from British shop Plümo. The photography and styling is fab, but what I love most is their breadth of offering — accessories, home product, and the most gorgeous apparel I’ve seen in a while. I’ve been focusing on adding statement pieces to my mostly-basics wardrobe and that long fringe scarf is exactly what the doctor ordered. Is it spring yet?

like a lollipop

You probably don’t know him, but you should. In his newest series, photographer Carl Kleiner collects random materials and combines them into these works of lollipop-inspired art. What I love most about them is the mix of color based on material. They all predominantly feature neutrals, but the odd pop color tossed in is just right. And how good are those blue drips??

killin’ it

Ugh, Free People is KILLIN’ IT lately. The styling in the November catalog is just SO good — really makes me get in the mood, whether it’s dark and ethereal, soft and romantic, or breezy and festive. I love how magical each shot is, like it’s from a dark, twisted fairytale.

OYOY

Continuing our new-to-me shop series, here is OYOY, a Danish purveyor of everything awesome for your home. As you probably know by now, I am a sucker for awesome styling and OYOY gets the gold star for the week! Whether it’s the perfect tabletop spread or a quirky, yet simple bedroom, OYOY has us covered. In terms of product, I love their restrained use of color, their quiet geometric prints, and mixed materials {cork, beech, silicone, oh my!}. Check them out here.
