The holidays are upon us and if you’re anything like me, you’ve got some gifts to wrap. To help you get a jump start on all those packages (before anyone peeks!), I partnered with Terrain to bring you some fun gift wrapping ideas. I started by wrapping all of my parcels in kraft wrapping paper. This gives me a clean surface upon which I can get really creative. Also, I’m always a fan of special tie-ons for presents — think of it as a bonus gift. One of my favorite tie-ons are Christmas ornaments. Here are a few ideas for perking up all kinds of packages!
For this gift, I snipped a cutting of fresh eucalyptus (any greenery will do — evergreens, ferns, etc!) and threaded it through a dried grapevine wreath. The finishing touch is a pop of red tailors’ ribbon. From here, either pencil in a sweet note to the gift recipient directly onto the paper, or slide a notecard under the wreath. This one is a favorite of mine!
I like to tailor my wrapping based on the recipient, so this next one is for all the men in your life!
Jingle bells spruce up ordinary ivory twill tape, especially when layered over a handsome, wide strip of flannel. Lastly, tie on a cheeky gift tag and antler ornament.
I envision this last wrapping idea to be perfect for moms — it’s just a touch more sophisticated, but still festive.
Bakers twine is always such a classic, so for this package i wanted to make it a bit more refined by adding a gorgeous matte aubergine-colored cutting from the Terrain gardens. A galvanized jingle bell ornament on twine makes the parcel just a bit merry.
Here’s one more exciting piece of news… Today, to celebrate the season, five (yes, 5!) lucky Terrain shoppers will walk away with a $1000 Terrain gift card. Want to be one of them?
