Well, I’m back from almost a week in San Francisco and it’s currently 6 degrees outside. Guh. But I’m not here to talk about the weather. While in perfect California, I realized how very special the quality of light is there. It is totally different — glowy even at midday, warm and golden even in the middle of ‘winter,’ and don’t even get me started on the magic hour. Let’s just say that I watched many a sunset during my trip.

Then I came across these incredible new ads from the Chloe Spring-Summer campaign. Talk about the perfect example of this special light.

She’s comfortable in her perfectly tanned skin and shaffy-chic hair. This campaign was inspired by “the last weekend of summer – golden light – serenity – smiles & whispers – making memories.” My perpetual dream of hanging out in a wildflower field just got even better.
