My new kitchen holds such promise, so much opportunity. I have glossy black granite countertops that practically beg for beautiful canisters and containers. This is why I am currently lusting after these gorgeous pieces from Vitrified Studio. Each porcelain piece is made by hand in Portland by Shelley Martin. I just love the casual, yet elegant shapes of each piece, as well as Shelley’s range of glazes. My favorite though, by far, is the white with matte black glaze. The tiniest touch of cork really just makes the look, don’t you think? This pairing of tall, thin canisters might just have to come reside in my new kitchen.

She’s so great! Being a potter, I always check out local potters when I’m on vacation. I went to Portland last May and met her and saw her groovy storefront on Alberta street. She had such beautiful pieces and so many helpful tips for me.
That’s such an amazing experience! Very cool :)
I am in love with matte black and white at the moment. I’m currently in the process of adding finishing touches to a newly designed kitchen space and these would be perfect! Can’t wait to go check out the whole line.
i love the idea of those finishing touches for your kitchen. hope the renovation is going well!
