My morning routine is pretty simple. I’m not a super high maintenance girl. Mostly I just focus on my go-to beauty essentials so I can breeze out the door in 20 minutes or less. I’m pretty casual with my look, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a set routine! I’m always such a fan of those ‘make-up bag dumps’ that other bloggers do (I’m such a voyeur), so today I wanted to share one of my own!
Because I recently moved and changed climates completely, I had to revamp my entire morning ritual. Let’s just say my skin was less than thrilled about the change in climate… It was a trial and error process, but I’m really pleased with the results now that I’ve solidified my routine. I start with a a pore normalizing cleanser from Paula’s Choice, then once my skin is dry, I follow with a primer and tinted moisturizer. After that, I add a touch of bronzer because I’m pale and some cheek stain for a hint of color. I’m all about the natural look that stains give, so I also use a lip stain. As for my skin, I smooth on vitamin c body oil. I only use a few drops, keeping my skin moisturized and fresh all day. Another great secret are Carefree acti-fresh pantiliners — they offer a fresh feeling all day long. Then lastly, a spritz of my favorite perfume and I’m out the door. This simple beauty routine keeps me fresh and lovely throughout the day.

I received a sample size of the Smashbox Photo Finish primer a while back and I immediately fell in love. It feel like silk when you put it on and seems to work as a great base for my minimal makeup routine.
i agree completely! it’s great for summertime.
