my favorite posts of the year

It’s been such a flat-out awesome year for me professionally. This blog, started as a fun little side project so I could showcase some of my inspiration apart from my day job, has grown to be my full-time gig — something about which I am so insanely proud. To me, 2014 will be the year when I really embraced my goal to create more and more content that is unique to myself and that showcases things about which I am most passionate. So, yearbook style, here are my favorite posts of the year!

First up, a lesson in layering with Free People: I really enjoy doing style shoots, so this one combined that love with one of my favorite brands to shop. (photography by Ashley Batz.)

Then there was the time my good friends drove my car across the country to me… (photography by Danfredo Photo + Film.)

When it comes to sponsored posts, I was pretty lucky this year, too. A few of my favorites include being the Guest Creative Director for Ziploc again, natural pet tips with Beyond Natural Pet Food, and s’mores on the beach with Kohl’s.
