go stripe yourself

While I’m admittedly in a bit of a style rut at the moment, there is one style element that feels new to me: stripes. Ordinarily stripes feel too nautical and preppy for my vibe, but I’ve been seeing new variations that I love: broken up to feel like colorblocking, fragmenting layouts of stripes, and patterns layered over stripes. I also feel like the color of the stripes matters. Lately I’m finding sartorial inspiration from shades of stonewashed blue, coral-y pink, marled grey, and, of course, ebony and white.

My personal favorites? This asymmetrical bodycon skirt and these eye-catching wedges — definitely a must for spring.
