about a dress

I don’t know what the deal is, but last weekend I was unpacking with the help of Annie from Live Simply and got so excited to wear dresses again. We were sifting through the tons and tons of floating, floral, ethereal dresses that I’ve collected over the years and honestly, I need to wear them now. I miss that carefree feeling of wearing something loose and just plain pretty.

about a dress // favorite picks for this springIf you look at my picks all together, you may notice a few trends… floaty & white is honestly one of my favorite ways to wear dresses. There’s something so special about wearing a gorgeous dress that’s more like a whisper than actual fabric. For me, it’s a great way to feel put together with minimal effort. I think of it this way: pants + a shirt means you’re dealing with picking out 2 pieces of clothing. A dress is only 1 piece, therefore even less thought is needed to get dressed. Yeah, I’m kinda simple that way sometimes.
