With evening temperatures dropping and cloudy skies rolling in for fall, it’s definitely time-to-get-cozy weather. This season calls for plenty of cuddling up on the couch with hot chocolate or warm cider for some guilt-free hibernation. My favorite ingredient for a comfy evening in evening has to be a super soft throw. If you’re still searching for the perfect blanket to complete your sofa snuggling setup you can’t go wrong with any of these throws.
The Citizenry’s Diamanta Throw (pictured above) in dove grey is one of my favorites. It’s made of super soft baby alpaca and has gorgeous rows of hand-knotted macramé fringe.
I love this handwoven throw by Texturable. It’s completely organic and timeless. The Black Sheep and White Sheep Blanket would be perfect for a long weekend at the cabin or for a touch of rustic decor.
Talk about stunning, the Mara Throw by Susan Connor has a hearty weave that contrasts beautifully with the delicate triangle motif. This understated blanket is 100% linen and sure to become a household favorite.
Shupaca’s Cognac Alpaca Throw is the epitome of cozy. Made from luxuriously soft Peruvian Alpaca fibers, it’s lightweight yet extremely warm. The deep burgundy tones and stripes of soft grey and light pink are just the thing to set the tone for autumn nights.
Manuosh’s Perfect Throw Blanket is jaw dropping. Volumes of chunky superfine merino wool, have been loosely hand knit together into a statement piece that looks and feels like you’re in the clouds. This throw is perfect for chilly nights and adds a welcoming decorative touch to any room.
Bring the night sky indoors with a quilted constellation by Mary Keasler for Tanner Goods. The ‘Cygnus’ Quilted Blanket is a work of art, loosely depicting the ‘swan constellation’ on one side and solid navy on the other. Nothing beets a handmade quilt on a cold winter night.
Sometimes a light cotton throw is just what you need. I love the tassel fringe on the 4040 Locust Zusso Symbology Throw Blanket, perfect for draping on a couch or chair with some other pattern pillows for a totally custom look.
