5 cool chunky scarves

I’ll be honest, I’m pretty hopeless at accessorizing. Basically, I just reach for the same necklace and pair of earrings every day, so when winter comes around I’m beyond excited to mix things up with the coziest, easiest accessory of all: scarves!

When it comes to this autumnal accessory, the chunkier the better. I love the warm tones and big pattern of Free People’s killington oversized plaid scarf (pictured above). It’s one of those pieces I could wrap around any outfit and in and instant change the vibe to a cozy, chic look.

We can’t even begin to talk about chunky scarves with bringing up Anthropologie’s snow day scarf! The bright red color and oversized knit feels so modern. This scarf could take any outfit from zero to a hundred in second.

One of my least favorite parts of being a grown-up is getting out of bed, especially when it’s cold out and my duvet is so nice & warm! All I want to do is wear my comforter around all day, but the Shag Geo Blanket Scarf from Urban Outfiters might just make my morning’s more bearable. This shaggy, fringed scarf has a fantastic geometric pattern and a color scheme that goes with just about anything.

Speaking of cozy, the pieces chunky knit blanket scarf by ASOS is made from a creamy wool-mix blend that can warm you up on the chilliest days. I love the scale of this piece, one time around the neck and I’m snuggling in knit goodness up to my (often red & cold) nose. Plus is has something that everyone here at Jojotastic can’t get enough of… tassels!

For a break glass, outfit maker there’s always Argaman & Defiance’s short raw silk infinity scarf. Hand-dyed in gorgeous natural hues, this is a stunner. Super warm raw silk wraps you up in a cocoon with un-finished edges for the perfect drape.
