This holiday season finds me a bit stressed when it comes to gift giving. I’m in save-save-save mode because I’m in the market to buy a house (!!!) and every extra penny is going to that goal. That doesn’t mean I’m forgoing gifts altogether this year; rather I’m on the hunt for affordable yet stylish gifts that make a memorable statement. Admittedly, it’s been a few years since I last shopped at Old Navy. Mostly these days I’m into their affordable athletic wear, but with a list that’s nearly as long as my arm, Old Navy is a natural fit. Let’s start with neutral-but-far-from-boring gifts for your bestie. My bff, Lindsey, is one of those ladies who keeps things classic and timeless, but still with a bit of style. This year I want to update her look with a simple grid patterned scarf and a cozy clutch — don’t you love that each side is different? I’ve also got a bestie who just so happens to be a male, so I’ve got him on my list, too. Steve is a dapper kind of guy, into clean-cut classics and functionality alllll the way. He’s a man on the go, so tech tip gloves are an absolute must. His personal style can veer pretty preppy, so I know he’ll dig a trusty plaid scarf and cozy beanie.

While we’re on the topic of men… I’ve got a boyfriend this year! Sean’s style is simple and straightforward with a touch of boyish charm. I’m still digging that plaid scarf because it’s just such a great, classic gift. I have also picked out a cozy pair of striped socks (hello, stocking stuffer) and charcoal tweed sneakers that I know he’ll wear all the way into spring.

Last, but defffinitely not least: my assistant Gwen. She’s a freaking rockstar and has personal style unlike anyone I know… and yet, she never seems to dress warmly enough! I’m solving that problem by gifting her a super cozy textural scarf and knit beanie (with the cutest pom pom). Then, when I spotted this crossbody bag, I couldn’t help myself — it was the perfect gift for Gwen.
