Continuing my home tour of the Seattle loft… let’s move on to the ‘dining room!’ Also known as the area directly across from the bed. Ha. Loft living can be funny sometimes because you have to really utilize space well and get used to the idea of looking at a dining table while tucked into bed.
In terms of furniture, I got pretty lucky. Cassandra from Coco+Kelley lived there prior to me and left behind a stunning marble dining table. From there, it was just a matter of adding chairs and giving my plants a good home. Clearly, Georgette is into it.
Speaking of chairs… I went a bit mix-n-matchy with two different styles. I capped off each end of the table with white wishbone chairs, then kept it simple and modern with white powder coated metal chairs.
There’s one thing about this space that’s always bugged me: I never got around to selecting a piece of art for the wall. I was totally indecisive. Vintage? New? No idea. So it sat blank and then I moved out!
