What a week, you guys. I’ve been deep in the throes of hopefully launching a redesign soon (maybe next week??) and battling a nasty little cold. But the house finally has a new hot water heater and I’ve been sleeping a lot, so things are looking up! Speaking of my tiny house… ALL I can think about is outfitting each room with totally gorgeous, unique pieces. Today I wanted to share a few of my favorites:
The house doesn’t have a single closet. Yup, not a single one. So clearly, storage space is at a premium. Gorgeous baskets like these from Eliza Gran are perfectly boho and modern for my style.
The house boasts bamboo floors, so I’m grateful not to be dealing with wall-to-wall carpeting. I love to walk around barefoot though, so rugs are really high on my ‘to do’ list when it comes to decorating. These two styles from Rugs Direct are absolutely gorgeous in different ways. I love the calming indigo and charcoal colors of this Amer Rugs style for my bedroom, while the striking black and white combo of this Surya rug is the perfect impact for my dining room/office.
The exterior of the house needs quite a bit of love, especially the front porch. After all, it’s the first thing you see! I ordered two of these hanging planters from Convivial Production and can’t wait to see how they add a touch of modernity to my sweet little bungalow.
Then there’s my lighting situation… the house has weird overhead lighting that I pretty much hate. I think my strategy is going to be to swap those out, but also to focus on gorgeous lamps to softly illuminate the space. This bronze and glass torchiere duo from Bellacor is right up my alley — they take up minimal space, but will lend a warm glow to the living room.
Lastly, something that has me ALL KINDS OF EXCITED: this anchor themed bathroom accessory collection from Anthropologie! You better believe that I scooped up every single piece of this collection to round out the bathroom renovation I have planned for the future. I have the feeling that these pieces will be just what I need to round out the design I have in mind…

Just found your blog today, and I love it! Those rugs are amazing. I am renting a 450 sqft apartment in San Francisco (just moved 6 months ago), so I’m definitely gonna check out that Pinterest board to find some ideas for my own “tiny house”.
Excited for your potential redesign as well, cheers!
welcome! so glad you found me :) enjoy SF!
