Kelaoke

When I’m feeling uninspired, one of my sure-fire ways to get that spark back is to do a bit of Instagram stalking. By this, I mean that I tap on a hashtag and just sort of… go with it. I scroll through until I find a photo that’s visually appealing, then click over to that account. That’s how I recently discovered the Etsy shop of Kelaoke. I mean, have I ever met a tassel I didn’t like? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

These necklaces are totally amazing, full of texture, color, and character. Kelaoke uses polymer clay to create medallion-like beads and then layers on yarn, string, and rope to create tassels. The effect is perfectly bohemian and gorgeously handmade.
