I have a confession to make: I am terrible when it comes to picking a rug. I get totally overwhelmed by all of the options… by the colors, the patterns, the dimensions… the price! I can never make up my mind. For example, before I selected this rug for my old loft, I bought and returned 4 different rugs. This happens pretty much every time I need to cover my floor. It can get quite stressful. Thankfully, interior designer Jessica McCarthy from Decorist has been helping me navigate the vintage rug waters for my living room makeover. I swear, we have looked at approximately 1,000,000 rugs and most of them are on Etsy. I figured that I could put all this endless clicking and scrolling to good use and share some of my favorite vintage rug Etsy shops with you guys to help make your shopping easier!
Looking for Vintage Rugs on Etsy? Check Out These Amazing Shops:

First up, meet URBAN RUG which was suggestion from Jessica. They’ve got loads of gorgeous Persian and Turkish rugs in beautiful colors. Plus, this shop is one of the more affordable ones we found and offers free shipping, sort of a big deal!

Then there’s the intense color explosion of Loom and Field. OMG you guys, these rugs are like candy. While we’re going for a muted, sophisticated palette of white, black, and navy, I just could not help myself when it came to the hot pink rugs!

Speaking of color… meet Fine Moroccan Rugs. I dare you not to lose your mind over the patterns, color, and texture. These rugs are truly works of art.

If you’re like me and want to see All Of The Options, Kordestani Collection has you covered. The assortment of rugs is more traditional, but there are loadssss of them to choose from.

For a totally different look, I suggest shopping these gorgeous Peruvian Frazadas from Knotty Inca. I’m in love with the bold color, especially these pops of tangerine. I’m normally not super into orange, too, but paired with bold geometrics and hues of magenta, purple, and aqua… and I’m totally enamored.

Ok, one more… if you’re looking for those ubiquitous black and white shaggy numbers AKA Beni Ourain and Boucherouite rugs, look no further than The Boucherouite Shop. While these rugs are not exactly budget-friendly, they pack an incredible punch for any room.
