When it comes to artists and makers, I try really hard not to play favorites. But sometimes… well, sometimes, someone is just so damn good that I can’t help myself. Such is the case for textile designer Rebecca Atwood. She and I know each other from our days designing for Anthropologie. After leaving, she went on to create her own company and it’s flourished into an amazing business. Recently she released her first book, Living with Pattern: Color, Texture, and Print at Home, and let me tell you… it’s pure genius. The book itself is a gorgeous specimen, but the inspiration is simply amazing. As I settle into my home more and more, I can’t help but reference the pages of Rebecca’s book and apply them to my own space.
Today’s your lucky day because we’ve partnered with Rebecca Atwood to giveaway a signed copy of Living with Pattern, too!
One of the reasons I love Rebecca’s work so much is her use of my favorite color palette, blue and white. She blends these two colors to create infinite shades and hues within them in a way that’s a bit boho, a touch casual, and oh-so-livable. She works within a palette that often skews extremely preppy, but instead creates products that feel way different. Not an easy task!
Giveaway time… enter below for a chance to win! One winner will be chosen at random by Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10 am PST. Winner will receive 1 signed copy of Living with Pattern: Color, Texture, and Print at Home. Good luck!
