Lately I’ve been diversifying the type of work and projects I take on, especially into the styling realm. So you can imagine my excitement when one of my most favorite shopping sources, the Seattle Goodwill, reached out to me about putting my styling skills to the test. The ask was simple: shop the local Goodwill stores and pull together 3 different tablescape looks to inspire people for the holidays! Armed with $200 in gift cards (which goes a loooong way at the Goodwill), I loaded up many carts with some amazing goodies. During the Fall Fashion Event, bloggers, social media rockstars, and editors were also given a sneak peek of the goods offered at this year’s Glitter Sale, plus tips for Halloween makeup by Tiffany Lowry! It was an awesome event, to say the least.

Here’s a first for me: seeing my name on a cookie!

My first look was what I called Resplendent Metallics. This tablescape look is all about the more traditional color holidays: green, red, and gold. I also added in a bit of smokey glass, too. I loved mixing and matching textures like golden basket weave chargers, smoked cut glass plates, and dessert plates with floral motifs.

My second look, Blue Bohemian, was built on two of the seasons biggest trends: shades of blue and boho vibes. I mixed together different patterns of blue dinnerware and then used terra cotta and rich brown as my pop colors. I kept the textiles neutral and natural and paired it with bunches of wildflowers and eucalyptus for the centerpieces. This tabletop was definitely my favorite!

The last look is called Traditional with a Twist. Everything about this look is vintage or vintage-inspired, while pulling in soft shades of pink and coral. I also incorporated luster glass for some shine and fanciful accents.

Here I am chatting with Syndey from Gossip & Glamour about these gorgeous smoked glass plates I found! Very serious business ;)

Makeup tutorials for Halloween were also offered by the super-talented Tiffany Lowry, too.

And last, but not least… the Glitter Sale preview! We got to try on gorgeous designer clothing, shoes, and jewelry — and, believe me, if you’re local to Seattle, you will definitely want to shop this year’s Glitter Sale. There are some seriously amazing pieces up for grabs! Get all of the details here.

Many thanks to the Seattle Goodwill for inviting me and for Gossip & Glamour for putting together this event!
