the friday edit

Wow, it’s been a while since I did one of these! Admittedly, by the time Friday rolls around, I’m exhausted. The business of healing a broken leg has been quite tiring and, being totally honest, I’m feeling rather uninspired lately. It’s tough to do photoshoots which means that sharing really awesome unique content with you guys is hard to do. Round ups sort of feel ‘pat’ if ya know what I mean, but for the moment, it’s the best I can do. I’m getting better though and my mobility has improved, so I’m hoping to share some really good stuff with you guys in the next few weeks (ahem, the bedroom makeover reveal… finally???). Thanks so much for bearing with me as I get my shit together.

Here’s some stuff that is inspiring me lately…

I’m loving things that feel modern with a vintage twist. These ceramics by Objects and Totem have been my favorites for a while now. I love it all: the shapes, the glazes, the geometric shapes. So good.

the friday edit. olive mustard green jumpsuit.

I want to wear this gauzy set from Free People and cozy up around this awesome modern chiminea in the backyard.

the friday edit. modern fire pit chiminea. the friday edit. custom stamps for backyard chickens eggs.

Did you know we got backyard chickens?? I shared it on my Instagram Stories this week. Still waiting to get some good photos of the ladies so you can properly meet them. But in the meantime, I am really into the idea of a custom stamp for our eggs when we give them to friends and family!

the friday edit. modern geometric slides in pale baby blue

I’ve been daydreaming about the day I can wear normal shoes again (and on both feet). These modern geometric slides from Nordstrom are at the top of the list. Who would have thought I’d love something in baby blue??

the friday edit. handwoven ivory blanket

And lastly, because there’s still a bit of a chill in the air here in Seattle, I’m obsess with this woven blanket from 48 & Sea.
