stylish mailbox round up (+40 sources!)

source: green steel mailbox

My plan this year was to settle the exterior of the house more: fresh paint, new house numbers, a door knocker, and a stylish mailbox. I haven’t made much progress on that last, but refreshing our mailbox is definitely an easier project to tackle than, say, repainting all of our trim. And I like to think that now is a good time to replace our ugly mailbox because the holidays are on their way and that means lots of cards and mail! During my search, I’ve found soooo many amazing mailboxes that I just had to share my findings with you guys.

I’m still trying to decide if I want our mailbox to be mounted to the house because every time we get mail, the dogs go absolutely bananas. I feel like it would be a lot quieter around here if I had a more traditional mailbox on a post close to the sidewalk. Our dogs are just so sensitive to anyone coming into the yard!

If you’re looking for a black or warm-toned metallic mailbox, here are a few gorgeous options:

I’m also a bit concerned about my mail being… misplaced. A locking mailbox is definitely a must-have for us. I get so much stuff delivered to the house that I really would feel more comfortable knowing my mail is secure!

If you’re looking for a silver-toned or white mailbox, here are some really stylish options:
