
After last year’s kombucha cocktail, I couldn’t help myself… I had to share another one with you guys! Humm Kombucha sent me a case of their passionfruit mango flavor and I knew it would be perfect for a refreshing and light cocktail. Don’t get me wrong, though… this is by no means a low ABV drink! But it is quiiiite delicious and unique. If you’ve ever had a cubana cocktail, you know just how good they are. With the addition of kombucha to that classic mix, this cocktail recipe is the perfect sip for your next brunch.

I think what I love best about kombucha is the effervescence. For a while I was addicted to soda and now I’ve replaced that habit with the ‘booch. We made these cocktails on a Saturday morning and they were so perfect for a little bit of relaxed day drinking. I also think this recipe would be awesome for sipping on the sailboat come summer…



Sparkling Kombucha Cubana
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz white rum
- 1 oz Humm Kombucha passionfruit mango
- .5 oz lemon juice
- 3 dashes black walnut bitters
- champagne
- thin lime slices for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a cocktail shaker (here’s my favorite) with ice and add all of the ingredients. Cover and shake.
- Double strain into a glass with ice and thin slices of lime. Top with bubbles!
