Natural Skincare That I’m Loving Lately (Fresh, Osmia, Hand in Hand & more!)

It’s definitely been a while since I last shared a beauty and skincare post with you… I’d like to blame the renovation because it’s taking over my life! It’s not exactly a secret that natural skincare is really important to me, so I wanted to share a few of the products that have been sent my way for a review. In case you’re on the hunt for a new natural body wash, scrub, or lotion, these picks will definitely help you. There are also a few natural beauty products for the face area, as well. You know me… I can never say no to trying out more facial products!

Day to Night All-Natural Face and Body Skincare

Natural Body Care

Dani Naturals Grapefruit Ginger Hand & Body Lotion

I cannot express to you how good this lotion smells! This is the perfect natural lotion to keep on your desk at work when you’re feeling like you need a pick-me-up. The blend of grapefruit, orange, and ginger is super invigorating and definitely helps me perk up when I’m dragging. I also love how quickly this lotion absorbs. Plus, it’s packed with good stuff like aloe vera, vitamin E, and shea butter.

Hand In Hand Cactus Blossom Sugar Scrub, Body Lotion, and Bar Soap

I’m a longtime fan of Hand in Hand, so I was very excited to try out their new skincare line, especially the Sugar Scrub and Body Lotion. With fall and winter on the horizon, I’m already thinking about adjusting my skincare routine to combat dry skin, so a good scrub is essential. This particular one not only smells great, but is made of extra-fine sugar, organic coconut oil, and shea butter for a strong, but gentle scrub. Sean is definitely a fan of how soft this makes my skin feel. As for the lotion, I preferred to use it on my body because it is so nourishing. It just felt a bit heavy for my hands, unless I applied it before bedtime. The lotion contains sunflower seed oil (super hydrating for your skin), eucalyptus essential oil, and orange essential oil. Plus, when you buy one of these products, Hand in Hand donates one bar of soap and one month of clean water to a child in Haiti.

Natural Skincare For Your Face

Osmia Face Products

I was initially drawn to try Osmia face products because they seem to be a brand that is really gentle and perfect for sensitive skin… aka mine! I have used these as part of my nighttime ritual for the past month or so and I really love what they’ve added to the mix. After cleaning and toning, I press a few drops of the Brighten Facial Serum onto my cheeks and forehead. Made with extracts of papaya, pumpkin, mushroom, algae, and wheatgrass, this brightening serum is formulated to support healthy cell turnover for the skin on your face. I’ve noticed that it has made my skin feel much smoother and that I have more of a glowy look!

Next in my routine, I follow with the Purely Simple Face Cream with is perfect for sensitive skin. The cream contains organic aloe juice to hydrate, plus a tiny bit of organic, vegetable-derived glycerin which helps skin retain moisture. As our weather becomes less and less humid, I’ve noticed my skin really cries out for more moisture and this face cream has been helping a lot with that! It’s sort of like a big drink of water for your cheeks. I also add in 3-4 drops of the Nectar Vital Rose Drops for an extra boost of moisture. This product is a bit expensive, so I use it 2-3 times a week to try to stretch out the bottle! The ingredients include safflower oil, argan oil, pumpkin seed oil, and rosehip seed oil (this helps to minimize the appearance of chronic sun damage). And it smells heavenly thanks to a touch of jasmine.

Fresh Vitamin C Antioxidant Glow Face Mist and Brightening Glow Powder

I keep this face mist on my desk and use it when I feel like I need a quick surge of moisture. I’m usually a brat when it comes to anything in a spray bottle that I have to apply to my face… like I really hate when the mist isn’t fine enough! The mist on this one is perfect though and gives me a dewy glow pretty much instantly. And WOW does it smell good… like the most delicious, juicy orange! It’s alcohol-free and packed with vitamins C, E, and B5 to help protect your skin from environmental factors. The next time I travel, I plan to use the small size on my flight to keep my skin hydrated!

I’ve also been using Fresh’s Vitamin C Brightening Glow Powder because it is literally the quickest mask I’ve ever used that works super-well. Basically, you mix together the two packets with a teaspoon of water, then massage it into your skin for 30 seconds. After I rinse, my skin feels absolutely incredible, super smooth, and a lot brighter. I keep mine on a shelf near the shower so I can use this product while my deep conditioner sets in!
