9 Things of Note in March 2019

Is it just me or did March practically fly by? Like, how is it already the last week of the month? Bananas. It seemed like you were into this new series, so I’m happy to share more of my favorite products that I’ve tried out in March (especially an Ursa Major shampoo I am loooving). Let me know if there’s anything you think I absolutely must try for next month’s things of note, too!

Joanna’s Favorite Things from March 2019 (including Ursa Major, Joie, Mrs. Meyers & more)

As always, please note that a few of these items have been gifted to me. I have indicated that with an asterisk * next to the name of the product. As usual though, I am only sharing what I have absolutely loved and would spend ‘real money’ on regardless.

Medium Oil-Rubbed Bronze Wire Storage Basket*

I’ve got storage on my mind in a big way, especially as we make more and more progress on the kitchen. Rejuvenation was kind enough to send over a few of these baskets in varying sizes to help me start getting our pantry organized. Even though the pantry is far from finished, I’ve been loving using these storage baskets all around the house! The low, small size is perfect for gathering papers, too.

Joie Paityn Top

Meet my new power top! I have worn this silky, pleated, ruffled top for pretty much every event that I need to look nice. There’s something about it that makes me feel really good… and this color is my absolute favorite. If you wondered where to find my top from the Cort video, this is it!

Ursa Major Go Easy Daily Shampoo*

I’ve been having some build up issues lately with my hair. I suspect it’s from using too much dry shampoo, so I was really happy when Follain sent over this shampoo for me to try out! Honestly, this might be the first natural shampoo that has met my standards and then some. I love how it lathers, how it cleans my hair without being overly drying, and how it smells.

Mrs. Meyers Lilac Scented Dish Soap

Hi, I am a nerd and order a year’s supply of this dish soap because I love the fragrance SO MUCH. Seriously.

/skin regimen/ cleaning cream*

First of all, this might be the best smelling face wash I’ve ever used. It also works really well at removing make up and daily residue, while also being a nice, refreshing cleanse in the morning. A small amount is all you need because it lathers up really nicely, too.

The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah

I read for about 30 minutes every night before bed and usually I try to make it something boring so I don’t have trouble falling asleep… well, this book is not that! I could not put this one down at all. If you want a quick read that is engrossing and well-researched, I highly recommend this one!

Cook’s Illustrated Magazine

This magazine subscription was my birthday present to myself! Sean’s uncle had a copy and I perused it and immediately fell in love. I had to have it! I’m super excited for the delivery of my first issue.

Davines The Quick Fix Circle Multitasking Hair Mask*

My hair has different textures throughout, so I usually struggle with finding a conditioner that works on all of it. Usually I end up using a hair mask as a normal conditioner and this one has been amazing. The one pouch is usually enough for me to condition my hair about 3-4 times and it always leaves it feeling way softer.

Marpac Dohm Classic White Noise Sound Machine

I shared this white noise machine on Instagram Stories and was blown away by the number of responses I received! While this isn’t a new product to me, I really wanted to share it with you in case you’re in the market for something to help you sleep better. I’ve probably had mine about 6 years and I love it… I’ll never use another sound machine!

So these are my 9 fave products from March! If you have any tips or requests for April, let me know.
