9 Things of Note in July 2019

Is it me or did July fly by?? But here I am, rounding up my fave 9 products from the month already! I haven’t bought much this month, to be honest. Or at least not any large purchases. We’re in major save mode because the wedding is so soon. There are a few things that I picked up that I am totally loving though… Hint: I’m obsessed with Fenty Gloss Bomb in a way I never knew I could love a lip gloss! Let’s dig into the rest of my 9 things of note for July.

Joanna’s Things of Note from July 2019 (including Fenty Gloss Bomb & more)

As always, please note that a few of these items have been gifted to me. I have indicated that with an asterisk * next to the name of the product. As usual though, I am only sharing what I have absolutely loved and would spend ‘real money’ on regardless.

Redecker Soft Horsehair Bristle Dish Brush

I am slowly upgrading everything in our kitchen to be more natural, zero-waste, and more aesthetically pleasing. Our latest addition are these dish brushes. They are so great for scrubbing pots and pans.

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid

I’m including hyaluronic acid in my skincare routine more and more, so ordering this affordable option was a start for me. I’ve definitely noticed that my skin feels more hydrated.

Making It Up As I Go tee*

My good friend Becky from Chipper Things has the cuuutest style and sent me this printed graphic tee. I love that it expresses exactly what I’m thinking most of the time… and it’s really the softest t-shirt I own now.

The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin

I literally could not put this book down!! I think I actually finished it within 4 days, which is pretty quick for me. The novel follows 4 siblings after they see a fortune teller who can predict the day they will die. It’s absolutely fascinating and engrossing.

Fenty Gloss Bomb

I wanted a lip gloss that was shiny, but not too shiny… pink, but not too pink… and not one million dollars. So far, the Gloss Bomb from Fenty Beauty in the shade FU$$Y is my favorite. It’s like the color of my lips, but better!

Bose Soundlink Color Bluetooth Speaker II

We needed a wireless speaker for wedding stuff, so I scooped up this Bose one and it’s been awesome so far! The sound quality is great for such a small speaker and it’s really, really easy to connect.

Follain Candle No. 1*

I’ve been loving the subtle calming fragrance blend of this candle so much lately. It makes our bathroom actually feel like a spa!

Aerie Real Happy wireless bra

I absolutely loathe wearing a bra, especially one with an underwire. While shopping on Aerie for a bathing suit, I picked up this wireless bra on a whim and absolutely love it. It’s very comfortable, has some lift (although I wouldn’t call it a push up bra like they do), and doesn’t ride up.

Brass Organically Shaped Stacking Rings

This was my one splurge for the month! I have been wanting a set of organic stacking rings for so long and these ones are brass. I love that they are so special and totally unique.

So these are my 9 fave products from July! If you have any tips or requests for August, let me know.
