What to Watch on Netflix

I’ve been wrestling with a cold since late last week, which means I’ve watched too many hours of Netflix to even count! Not gonna lie, I’m sort of a streaming show addict. When I work from home, chances are that I have something playing in the background. In case you’re in the same boat as me with a cold or just want to see what to binge watch this weekend, hopefully this post helps you figure out what to watch on Netflix!

My List of What to Watch on Netflix This Week/Weekend

The Pharmacist

This multi-part series is soooo good. It’s incredibly well done, but I especially love Dan. He’s so smart, so determined… and so cute. It breaks my heart when he talks about his son, but then I’m also so inspired by the way he gets justice for him as well! Definitely a must-watch.

Cheer

OMG THE BEST. I binge watched Cheer in about a day and a half and fell soooo in love with all of the kids on the cheer squad. They are so inspiring and talented. I really hope that Netflix brings back another season of this because it’s just so good.

the goop lab with Gwyneth Paltrow

While I don’t personally subscribe to all of the claims that goop makes, I am still fascinated by it and Gwyneth. Plus, it’s always fun to see what’s new in the world of wellness… even if it’s not for me. I’m only about halfway through this series, but so far I’m enjoying it.

I Am a Killer

Raise your hand if you’re as obsessed with the true crime genre as I am. This series is straight up spooky because they are literally interviewing killers about their crimes. I believe in the importance of body language, so watching them tell their story is truly fascinating. The interviewers also playback recordings of victims’ families, police officers, and jury members, so it’s really interesting to see reactions to that, too.

Miss Americana

I’m not exactly a Taylor Swift fan… nor am I anti-Taylor. I’m sort of in the middle. I put on the documentary just because I was bored and felt like I’d run out of stuff to watch. I wouldn’t say it was anything truly mind blowing or that it dug deep. But I did enjoy getting to know her backstory more. The weirdest part is that nothing was entirely memorable from it…

#cats_the_mewvie

I looooved this documentary! It traces back the history of cat memes, while also interviewing current cat influencers. As an ‘influencer’ myself, it was wildly entertaining to see how they talk about the business of Instagram and the internet.

After 4 days of feeling under the weather, I’m hopefully on the mend and will be back to my usual self tomorrow!

So what do you think of my list of what to watch on Netflix?? Let me know if I missed anything!
