If there are 2 things I want to be draped in at all times (George Costanza-style) it’s blue and linen. My love for both is nearly equal and our bedroom refresh wouldn’t be complete without incorporating a bit more. Magic Linen was kind enough to gift us new bedding and it’s an absolute DREAM… and the perfect finishing touch for our space! If you’re unfamiliar with Magic Linen, they make the most effortlessly beautiful handmade and stonewashed bedding ever. I’m obsessed… and here’s why.

Review: All About Our Linen Bedding from Magic Linen
I am usually someone who loves the look of all-white bedding, but this time I wanted to try something new. Admittedly, our wallpaper limits what I can do. It’s such a bold, impactful statement that anything else in the bedroom plays a supporting role. But when I saw this navy blue linen duvet cover… I just KNEW. The shade of blue is a perfect match to our wallpaper.

I love the drama that the navy blue duvet cover brings to our room!

As for the bed sheets, I chose white linen sheets. I didn’t want our bed to be a total sea of blue, so the white provides some much needed contrast and lightness to the overall look. What I can’t get over is just how SOFT these sheets (and the duvet) are. This is because Magic Linen stonewashes their linen. That’s a technique that historically uses stones, but now they use enzymes to soften the fabric, increase it’s flexibility, and give it that lived-in look and feel we all know and love.

It’s also worth noting that linen gets better with age. We’ve slept on these sheets for about a month now. Each time we wash them and they come out of the dryer, they are super-soft, rumpled perfection.

See those square pillows in the back against the headboard? Those are euro shams. They measure 26×26 and, to me, really round out the look. One thing I looooved about shopping from Magic Linen was how many different shapes & sizes they offer in pillow covers. From body pillows to lumbar pillows to European sizes pillowcases, they really have it all. Again, so you can drape yourself in linen entirely! My dream.

So what do you think of our new bedding?? As you can tell, the dogs absolutely adore it. If you’re in the market for new sheets, I highly recommend checking out Magic Linen — especially because they have such an amazing range of colors.
hi where did you get the painting on the bedroom wall? do you know the artist name?
Hi! She is my bestttt vintage score and I shared the full story of her in this post: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CaakXWWAvRi/
I don’t know the artist’s name, unfortunately. But one day I hope someone recognizes her and tells me more about her!
