Recently, I conducted a poll on Instagram and tons of people asked me to share a round up that’s similar to my post about stylish humidifiers — but this time about modern air purifiers! I’ve used plants as air purifiers for a while, but with spring upon us, my allergies are terrible. We have the windows open to let in that fresh air, but woof, the pollen!! In case you’re in the same scenario, I thought it would be helpful to share which air purifier I use + round up a few more stylish and modern options for you!

13 Stylish & Modern Air Purifiers That Won’t Ruin Your Home’s Aesthetic
Why you need an air purifier
Before we dig into the modern air purifier options, let’s talk a bit about why you actually need one. For me, I find that it helps to clean the air of allergens, pet dander, and other pollutants from city life. Because of this, we keep ours in the bedroom. It can also help to eliminate smoke, dust, and help with a potential mold problem.

What to look for when buying an air cleaner
There are a few features that I definitely recommend looking for when shopping for an air purifier. First, research the filter system and make sure it is a true HEPA filter. The one I use has 3 filtration systems, including one with activated carbon which helps capture allergens and dander. Also, be sure to stay on top of changing out the filter… a good one will have a method of reminding you that it’s time!
I also recommend finding one that’s ultra-silent, especially if you’re planning to keep it in your bedroom. Typically, the product listing will say how many decibels it is. You can also find options with built in night lights, which can be great for kids rooms.
