In case you haven’t heard yet, we launched something new for The Jojotastic School of Social Media recently! They are checklists of 30 tips and tricks to improve your social media accounts and get out of a rut — and each one is dedicated to a specific industry! Right now, there are 4 to choose from: interior designer, florist, wedding photographer, and maker (i.e. ceramicists, artists, illustrators, and anyone who makes a product!). More to come, too. There’s so much to share about each one, but today I want to focus on the social media tips for interior designers since I know that’s a large part of my blog readers and social media followers! Oh, and before we dive in too far… did I mention that they are each only $25???

Who are these social media tips and tricks for?
I designed the list of tips to be applicable for interior designers who already have a solid social media presence, but are looking to get out of a rut or feel stagnant with their growth. These tips, tricks, and strategies will build on what you’ve already started — and help you change things up!
Can you give me an example of the social media strategy you suggest?
I don’t want to give away everything… but here’s one of my absolute favorite suggestions to help interior designers market themselves on social media:
Tip #24: Teach Something
Help people learn about different design eras and styles. Teach them to identify what they like and don’t like. Educate them around your specific niche and give them a vocabulary so they can start to make design decisions. Consider creating content about specific eras of design and art, important furniture designers, or any other topic that will help people learn from you.
