In case you haven’t heard yet, we launched something new for The Jojotastic School of Social Media recently! This list of tips for social media for interior designers is specifically tailored to the needs of interior designers and includes 30 original, customized suggestions to guide you through ways to establish a consistent aesthetic, connect with your audience, and get noticed by brands. There are 3 overall topics for the tips: general best practices, social content ideas, and press and publicity tips.

Who are these social media tips and tricks for?

I designed the list of tips to be applicable for interior designers who already have a solid social media presence, but are looking to get out of a rut or feel stagnant with their growth. These tips, tricks, and strategies will build on what you’ve already started — and help you change things up!

I don’t want to give away everything… but here’s one of my absolute favorite suggestions to help interior designers market themselves on social media:

Tip #24: Teach Something

Help people learn about different design eras and styles. Teach them to identify what they like and don’t like. Educate them around your specific niche and give them a vocabulary so they can start to make design decisions. Consider creating content about specific eras of design and art, important furniture designers, or any other topic that will help people learn from you.
