My Go-To Sources for Home Decor

While I get asked a lot for the source of things in our home, I also get asked for sources for decor. Basically, just a list of places to consider for different decorating needs, like wallpaper companies I like, paint brands, lighting, etc. So I figured it was high time for me to round up my go-to sources for home decor. These are the brands, companies, and websites that I always start with when taking on a new decorating project or renovation (especially our new house!). If you’re in the midst of planning your next interior design project, I hope this resource is a great starting point for you!

My List of Go-To Sources for Home Decor That I Swear By

Keep in mind that this list is not exhaustive. There are literally countless sources for home decor! But this post is all about items that I’ve personally worked with or have in our home. Sometimes I know these brands and their quality because they’ve gifted me product in exchange for coverage here on the blog, but most of them are also places where I personally shop. Let’s dig in!

I’m weird about curtains… I usually just let them be an afterthought and use simple white curtains to finish a space. Curtains can get really expensive, so I usually just try to find the most affordable source.

Small decor items

  • Etsy — also check out this post for vintage rug sellers on Etsy that I love!
  • Wild Shaman
  • Rejuvenation
  • Karastan — our living room rug is from this brand and I love it. It repels stains while also being really thick and cushiony underfoot.
  • Loloi — I am consistently amazed by the quality and creativity that Loloi puts into their rug collections. I’ve always had at least one Loloi rug in my home, no matter where I’ve lived. They are that good!
  • Dash & Albert — these are my gold standard for quality indoor/outdoor rugs, especially for high-traffic areas.
  • Chairish
  • One Kings Lane
  • Rugs Direct — I’ve always been really happy with the rugs I’ve gotten here, including some of the brands that are on this list.
  • Ecarpet Gallery — my favorite source for affordable handmade, vintage, and vintage-inspired rugs
  • Revival Rugs
  • Lulu & Georgia
  • HomeGoods
  • Amazon Home

If you’re looking for temporary/removable wallpaper, definitely check out this massive post, too.

  • Brooklinen — my favorite place to buy percale sheets! So crisp, so cool to the touch. Perfect basis percale bedding!
  • Magic Linen
  • Authenticity 50
  • Kailu Silk — we’ve had a silk duvet from them for about 6 months and it’s so wonderful. I love that we can adjust it as needed for the seasons and it’s just soooo luxurious feeling!
  • Parachute

  • Weftend — I wish everyone could experience how wonderful these Turkish towels are. They wash well and feel brand new, even a few years later. Highly recommend!
  • Cuyana

We are definitely in the market for new towels when we move, so expect an update about which ones we end up with and love!

Dec Pillows

I’m sure this list could get even longer! I hope it helps you as an overview of my favorite places to shop for home decor — especially if you’re about to move to a new house like me!
