While I get asked a lot for the source of things in our home, I also get asked for sources for decor. Basically, just a list of places to consider for different decorating needs, like wallpaper companies I like, paint brands, lighting, etc. So I figured it was high time for me to round up my go-to sources for home decor. These are the brands, companies, and websites that I always start with when taking on a new decorating project or renovation (especially our new house!). If you’re in the midst of planning your next interior design project, I hope this resource is a great starting point for you!
My List of Go-To Sources for Home Decor That I Swear By
Keep in mind that this list is not exhaustive. There are literally countless sources for home decor! But this post is all about items that I’ve personally worked with or have in our home. Sometimes I know these brands and their quality because they’ve gifted me product in exchange for coverage here on the blog, but most of them are also places where I personally shop. Let’s dig in!
Lighting
- Rejuvenation — always my first stop when searching for incredibly well-made lighting
- Schoolhouse — my go-to source for classic lighting options
- Urban Outfitters — suchhh a good source for affordable, modern lighting in cool, unexpected materials
- One Kings Lane
- Lamps Plus
- World Market
- Lulu & Georgia
- Hudson Valley Lighting + Mitzi — two brands from the same company that I love. Mitzi is the more affordable line and has a bit more of a modern vibe. Both are awesome, though.

Curtains
I’m weird about curtains… I usually just let them be an afterthought and use simple white curtains to finish a space. Curtains can get really expensive, so I usually just try to find the most affordable source.
