Now that there are loads of underwear reviews here on the blog as part of my highly scientific Underwear Thesis project, I wanted to create a single post that recaps ALL of the reviews. Essentially, this is your one-stop-shop for everything Underwear Thesis related. Looking for a specific brand review? It’s here! Looking for the bracket in order to find my absolute favorite brand of underwear? It’s here! If there’s anything additional you’d like to see, leave a comment and let me know.
Underwear Thesis Bracket
To make Underwear Week even MORE fun (and to answer questions like “but which pair is the actual best?”), I’ve made a bracket!
Honestly, when it come down to the last two, ThirdLove and Arq, I majorly struggled! Both are A+ in my mind and soooo comfortable. But I ultimately chose ThirdLove because they are what I wear more often.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my high-waisted briefs from Arq. But they just aren’t an EVERY DAY type of underwear for me. For example, they are often higher in the waist than any of my jeans and then it just feels weird.

Underwear Brand Review Summaries:
Wow, it’s the last day of Underwear Thesis… where did the week go?? I hope you’re loving the reviews and learning a ton. As this series evolves, I want to incorporate more small businesses who are entering into the underwear game and today’s review is a great example. Today we’re breaking down the details of my full Thunderpants underwear review — this is my most requested brand to check out, btw!
Today’s review is dedicated to Knickey, a brand that’s been frequently requested for this project of mine. Full disclosure, I bought several pairs of their underwear but they also offered to send me some to try. I was very clear that my reviews aren’t always glowing and they were ok with that! I still feel a bit weird about having gotten a free product for this series, so I’m not sure that will continue going forward. As always, I disclose upfront when I’m given product and will continue to do so. With that settled, let’s dig into my Knickey underwear review!
For this series, I am pretty much exclusively focused on cotton and natural fiber underwear. But I received so many requests to review Patagonia underwear that I knew I had to include it in my Underwear Thesis! As a rock climber and avid hiker, having good athletic underwear is important to me. Plus, I’ve always been a fan of their sustainability efforts. So because of that (and a few more reasons I’ll get into), I made an exception. Let’s dig into the latest installment of Underwear Thesis: my Patagonia underwear review!
Welcome back to another day of Underwear Thesis! Today’s underwear review is all about Allbirds, a brand most well-known for their footwear. They’ve ventured into a few other categories as of late, including underwear. Naturally, a few people reached out to know my thoughts on them, so I picked up two different underwear styles and have a LOT of thoughts… Let’s dig into my Allbirds underwear review!
So to kick things off this time, I’m sharing my thoughts on truly one of the most requested brands of this entire project: Auden from Target! I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve been asked to review Auden. So I’m really glad to finally have this review published — you’ll have to let me know what you think!
Ooooh boy. I have put off publishing this underwear review as long as I could, but it’s time. I need to put on my big girl panties (pun very much intended) and share my unfiltered review of Parade underwear. You might be wondering why I’ve put off this review for so long… and it’s because I was majorly disappointed. I probably should wait until the end of the post to say that, but I just needed to address the elephant in the room! Let’s dig into all of the details about why I did not like Parade’s underwear, shall we?
New year, new underwear! I wanted to start off by thanking you for your patience in the last few months. I really did want to share even more Underwear Thesis reviews, but like… moving, renovating, the holidays, a tree falling on/around our house… it’s been a LOT. So, thank you. Lets move onto the reason you’re here though: my unfiltered thoughts about Everlane underwear! It was really fun to get back into these reviews and really dig into the details of each pair. I hope you enjoy this Everlane underwear review and learn a lot!
Here’s the thing about reviewing different pairs of underwear: you can only get so creative with the photography! But seriously, I am running out of ways to photograph underwear. Anyways, this week’s Underwear Thesis review is all about Pact, an organic clothing company. I think they are most known for their super soft organic basics. They definitely have a loyal fanbase and I got tons of requests to try them out because I think a lot of people curious! So if you’re in that group, keep reading to get the full scoop of my Pact review.
When I first started this project, I posted to Instagram asking for recommendations of underwear you love… and if there was one overwhelming response, it was ARQ! So many people said that ARQ is their holy grail, most favorite underwear of all time… and WELL worth the higher price tag. So, naturally I needed to order a few pairs and work on an ARQ review! After a few months of washing, wearing, and generally being the picky nerd that I am, I’m finally ready to share my review. Let’s dig in!
Today let’s focus on ThirdLove! This underwear brand was the first package in my shopping spree to arrive and I actually really liked them right off the bat. I laid out the judging criteria in this post, so let’s dig in. If you’re new to the blog, definitely check out that one, as well as my post about what to look for when shopping for underwear. They’re both great for getting you started!
So what did you think of my first official Underwear Thesis week?? I’d love to hear your thoughts and any constructive feedback that can help me make it even better for the next round in March 2022!
