I am thrilled to share with you that I will be teaming up with Better Homes & Gardens exclusively at Walmart for another year of content! Working with them has allowed to take on some truly epic and awesome projects — and today’s pantry makeover reveal is the latest. Our pantry is a feature of our cabin that I use on a daily basis and it’s always been a hot mess. Since we’ve been here nearly a year and fall cooking is juuust around the corner, I felt like it was time to finally get a handle on our messy kitchen food storage and transform it into the most organized pantry ever!
When Sean and I go camping (or even if I’m solo camping), cooking meals is usually one of my favorite parts of the entire trip. I love cooking outside and using the camp cooking kit that I’ve honed over the years (more on that here). Plus, it’s a really fun opportunity for me to try out new camping meals and explore other ways to make do with what I have on hand while we’re in the mountains. I’m often asked what I make when we go camping, so today I wanted to share my top 3 easy camping meals that I make pretty much every time we go on an adventure!
Let’s be real here: it can be expensive to design and decorate a house! I’ve become painfully aware of that now that we live in 2000 sqft, HA. So as I’ve been brainstorming content to share here on the blog with you, I wanted to make sure that I continue to be budget conscious. Today’s round up is all about my favorite affordable home decor items that are under $100 — and I personally own all of them! Let’s dig in.
Any time someone comes into our house for the first time, one of the first things they say is that our home has so much personality. And it’s so true! I’ve worked really hard to style out home so that it reflects our personalities and that which is special to us — and in a way that’s more meaningful and subtle than groupings of family photos. So today I wanted to share a few ideas to inspire you to bring more personality into your home and encourage you to change things up in order to make it feel more meaningful. I hope you enjoy these tips!

This post is a longgg time coming, but as always I aim to make sure I give every product I try time to really get to know it. We’ve had custom window treatments from Wovn Home in our main bedroom suite for about 4 months now and they are so wonderful. We chose both Roman shades and custom curtains since we had two different applications for each. But that also means I’m able to give you a better picture of what it’s like to order and install them! I hope you find my Wovn Home review helpful — if you have any additional questions, be sure to leave a comment and I’ll do my best to answer.
This was a really funny post to write. I had to consult Sean on it because he plays such a big role in our home renovations. I really wanted his input when it comes to all the renovation mistakes we made — especially to narrow it down to a top 4! There are many to choose from, to be totally honest with you. But such is the life of a homeowner/someone who owns a fixer upper, I guess! My hope is that in sharing this with you, you’ll be more equipped for your own home renovation. I hope you find this post helpful!
Meet my new favorite room in the house: our gear room! Formerly known as ‘the purple room,’ this room is now dedicated to all of our camping, climbing, hiking, skiing, etc gear and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. The organization alone makes me really really happy. Not to mention how easily accessed everything is when we prep for adventures. It’s just so good. I wanted to take some time to break down all of the components of the space and how I designed it to be as functional as possible.
