With 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 humans, and countless (outdoor) chickens, people think we’re nuts for having a white sofa. And trust me, up until we got it, I would have agreed with them! But now that we’ve lived with a white sofa for over 2 years, I’m happy to report that I have zero regrets. While it doesn’t look totally brand new, it still looks pretty darn good — especially given how much use it gets! So today I’m sharing how we keep a white sofa clean, including alllllll the cleaning tools I use. Let’s get started.Continue reading “How We Keep Our White Sofa Clean (With Pets!)”

Oof, puppy life… not exactly the cleanest. Diamond is officially potty trained, but there were some dark days of going outside every two hours, cleaning up so many puppy messes, and living with a steam cleaner on hand at all times. This isn’t the sexiest of blog post topics, but it’s definitely a good resource to save in case you adopt a puppy in the future. Also, it’s a great excuse for me to talk about my obsession with a few choice cleaning tools!Continue reading “Cleaning Tools I Swear By for Puppy Messes”
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Royal Canin. All opinions are 100% mine.
This past Saturday was basically a national holiday in our house: it was National Take Your Cat to the Vet Month! I’m joking about it being a holiday for us, but given how attentive we are to Georgette’s needs, it might as well be. What can I say — Georgette is my first pet that I adopted as an adult. She has a very special place in my heart. This year, she turned 12, which means she’s officially a senior meow! I teamed up with her favorite food maker, Royal Canin, to share the importance of taking your cat to the vet regularly, a few tips to help you take care of a senior cat, the food she eats now, and the details of a sweepstakes!Continue reading “How to Take Care of a Senior Cat (Plus, a Sweepstakes!)”
I knew last week’s post about how we go car camping would be popular, so I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised that the next one you guys want is my tips for how to camp with dogs! We don’t always bring our dogs with us because they can be sort of a pain. Noodle is older, so the trips are really hard on him. But Lucy loooooves coming along. For us, it’s a balance of what we plan to do on the trip and what is safest for them. When I go solo camping though, I always bring at least one of the dogs with me for safety. Here are 5 suggestions to help you enjoy dog friendly camping even more this summer!Continue reading “5 Tips for Dog Friendly Camping”
