Have you seen the viral baking soda and paint vase Have you seen the viral baking soda and paint vase hack?? #AD 🌿 Basically, you combine water-based paint and baking soda, then paint a vase with the mixture to give it a texture that's similar to vintage pottery! It's seriously cool and so easy. I've been dying to try this decor hack, so today I teamed up with @bhgatwalmart & @walmart to transform my favorite vase from their home decor line.
Visit jojotastic.com for the full DIY tutorial + all the details of this affordable and pretty summer tablescape 🍽 link in bio #BHGAtWalmart #walmart #betterhomesandgardens
It’s time for summer adventures, but first… we It’s time for summer adventures, but first… we test! ☀️🌲 #AD I’m honored to team up with @wadepthealth to share a bit about the importance of continuing to test for COVID-19 at-home in preparation for your summertime activities! As someone who is immunocompromised, I urge you to review and save this info:
1️⃣ Washington has tons of resources to help you know when and how to test, plus you can get FREE at-home test kits: www.doh.wa.gov/testing
2️⃣ You can also visit a testing site! Visit www.doh.wa.gov/TestingLocations or call 1-800-525-0127 to find a testing site near you.
3️⃣ Traveling this summer? Be sure to check if your airline or where you are going requires any testing or vaccination before travel, especially internationally.
4️⃣Test when you feel sick because there are a wide range of symptoms. Plus, it’s best to get tested as soon as possible. If you do test positive, keep in mind that you likely have a current infection, and you should isolate and inform close contacts. Call Washington’s COVID-19 hotline at 1-800-525-0127 and press # to share your results and access available Care Connect resources. If you have enabled WA Notify and you used an at-home test, you can anonymously alert others who may have been exposed. The advantage of this app is that it alerts strangers you may have been near of a potential exposure!
5️⃣ And if you do need to isolate, wear a well-fitted mask for 10 full days any time you’re around others inside your home or in public. Avoid travel and avoid being with people who are at high risk of severe illness from COVID-19 (like me!).
I’ve linked all of these resources in my profile + shared more in Stories. Let’s stay informed to help keep each other safe (while also enjoying this summer)!

Thank you so much @albieknows for putting on a new event! Can't wait!
A quick lil round up of all the spaces we’ve tra A quick lil round up of all the spaces we’ve transformed in our PNW cabin over the past year and a half — which is your absolute fave??

We *finally* finished out bedroom makeover — inc We *finally* finished out bedroom makeover — including this weird bathroom vanity area that isn’t actually located in the bath… instead it is in our bedroom, like in a hotel 😂 It’s weird, but we’re going with it until we can afford to fully renovate. I’ve also wanted to incorporate more print and pattern into our cabin, so we decided to install removable wallpaper. I love how it instantly transforms the space!
I’ve gotten a TON of questions about how to install peel and stick wallpaper, how to care for it, ways to use it, and where to buy it… so I wrote a blog post that is literally my ultimate guide to EVERYTHING related to temporary wallpaper this week! Check it out on jojotastic.com ✨ link in bio.
Photo dump of a very fun visit with Sean’s famil Photo dump of a very fun visit with Sean’s family & celebrating his birthday 🌲🍰 we’re so grateful for this time together and the opportunity to share the wild life we’ve built out here in the mountains. Hold your loved ones close ❤️
Ps - last photo was at 5 am as I attempted to sleep in 🤣
What's the number 1 thing you do before house gues What's the number 1 thing you do before house guests?? 🤗 My sister-in-law (whom I absolutely adore) and her sweet family are coming to stay with us and I could not be more excited. There will be 7 people in our cabin — the most we've ever had here all at once since we moved in! I'm in guest prep mode now which basically means doing lots of laundry, dusting everything, and child-proofing as much as I can. The countdown is on!
Meet the weirdest area in our entire cabin: our ma Meet the weirdest area in our entire cabin: our main bedroom suite bathroom… complete with a sink that is IN our bedroom 😂 #AD We’ll eventually renovate, but until then we’re embracing it by installing peel and stick wallpaper from @chasingpaper! The print is called Cowboy Toile and is part of their collection with @maxwhumphrey.
I knew I wanted a wallpaper print that is a nod to mountain life and cabin decor. Originally, I wanted to go with an oversized gingham from the same collection. But Sean was really into the Cowboy Toile and I decided to let him take the lead on this design choice! And I'm so glad I did. I love the print and what it brings to our bedroom suite. What do you think of it??

It was brought to my attention that IG shortened t It was brought to my attention that IG shortened this video when I originally posted it 🤦‍♀️ OOPS! Here is the FULL version that answers the two most frequently asked questions I’ve received since going viral: did we get an inspection and why did we buy this particular one! Let me know what you think 😘 #cabinlife #whyiboughtthishouse #renovationrealities #cabinfolks
If there's one space in our cabin that has gotten If there's one space in our cabin that has gotten the least attention, it's our dining room 😬 Which is weird since the entire house opens to this one space! While putting together the design plan for our cabin, I struggled with this space (and still do!). There are just so many weird elements: the LEVELS being one... and the bulky propane stove. Plus we pretty much HAVE to have an oval table that seats 6 due to the size constraints of the room.
I am still figuring out how else I want to push the aesthetic in this room. For example, I have tried 4-5 different rugs in here and nothing has totally satisfied my delicate design eyeballs. I also want dining chairs that are a bit more modern, but have yet to find The Ones.
So this space will continue to be a slow evolution of style, which is totally fine! What do you think of the evolution of our dining room?
