Happy Friday! It’s been a big week here because of all the yardwork we’ve done, but also because it was our 3 year anniversary. It’s always so nice to take a moment to celebrate love and connection, even when you’re in the midst of a big project and totally stressed out. We didn’t make a big fuss about it. Instead, we ordered in a lot of delivery (with bubble tea) and stayed in. This weekend will bring a LOT more work for us, but we’re in the home stretch of the project. I think after this we deserve a longgg break from projects, don’t you think??

spring blooms in Seattle. giant magnolia tree.

Happy Friday! I wish I had exciting stuff to tell you that we’re doing this weekend… but no. We’ll just be hanging around the house, working away on the backyard makeover. After so many weeks of traveling, it feels awesome to be back in Seattle though — yardwork or not. And, of course, it’s been so nice to spend time with Sean. Part of what I love so much about our relationship is how we manage to make even the mundane tasks feel special because it means we’re doing stuff together. I’m so lucky to have a partner who embraces my projects so wholeheartedly and in such a loving way. Ok, I’ll stop being sappy now. Promise!

white and blue handmade porcelain tableware dishes and bowls by Suite One Studio @suiteonestudio

Happy Friday! It feels sooooooo good to be home. After almost a week in North Carolina and then 36 hours in San Francisco, I got back late last night. After a week of traveling for work, I am so stoked to be back in Seattle and reunited with Sean and our tiny zoo. We have a lot of work to do this weekend, don’t get me wrong. But it feels so awesome to wake up in my own bed and have different clothing options!

Happy Friday and greetings from High Point! I flew in a bit early to hang out with my friend Lindsay of Suite One Studio and I’m so happy I did. It’s been really fun to check out her new studio space, meet her tiny zoo, and finally see her house. Our plan for the weekend is to check out the market early, but also to scope out some of Lindsay’s favorite antique shops and eat some gooood Southern food. I’m going to be oversharing on Instagram, so be sure to follow along to see it all FIRST.

Happy Friday! I’m officially back in Seattle and it feels sooooo good. We ended up driving back a day early because both of us were just aching to get home and get back to real life. Roadtrip life is super-fun and we definitely plan to do it again, but it was time… especially because next week I am off to North Carolina for High Point and then back to San Francisco immediately after! It’s been quite a whirlwind month and it’s only the first week of April.

Happy Friday! I’m writing this from a sun-drenched patio in San Anselmo, helping to prep for one of my dear friend’s wedding. We’ve officially been on our road trip for a week. If you’ve missed it, be sure to catch my highlighted stories on Instagram. I’m planning some recap videos, too, don’t worry ;)
