Whipped Feta


Need an easy side dish to bring for a dinner party? This easy whipped feta recipe is the perfect last-minute appetizer to share.

– block of feta cheese – cream cheese – fresh oregano – fresh thyme – olive oil – lemon juice – salt & pepper to taste

An hour before you want to make the whipped feta appetizer, remove the feta and cream cheese from your fridge and allow it to come to room temperature.


Clean and chop the herbs. I sort of just estimate how much I want to add, but you can always taste and add more.


 Combine the cheeses in a food processor, pulsing to combine. Then add herbs, olive oil, and lemon juice. At this point is when I suggest tasting the mixture and adding herbs if you want more.


Spoon the mixture into a bowl, top with a drizzle of olive oil and salt & pepper. Serve with raw veggies like carrots, celery, tomatoes, peppers, etc. or pita chips or toasted bread.
