Equipment

  • Food processor

Ingredients

  • 6 ounce block of feta cheese
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • fresh oregano
  • fresh thyme
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon juice of
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • An hour before you want to make the whipped feta appetizer, remove the feta and cream cheese from your fridge and allow it to come to room temperature.
  • Clean and chop the herbs. I sort of just estimate how much I want to add, but you can always taste and add more.
  • Combine the cheeses in a food processor, pulsing to combine. Then add herbs, olive oil, and lemon juice. At this point is when I suggest tasting the mixture and adding herbs if you want more.
  • Spoon the mixture into a bowl, top with a drizzle of olive oil and salt & pepper.
  • Serve with raw veggies like carrots, celery, tomatoes, peppers, etc. or pita chips or toasted bread.
