AMAZON HAUL: my recent amazon finds that I recommend!

It’s been way too long since I shared my latest Amazon finds… which is why this post is a weeee bit long. But every winter out here in the cabin, I learn more about how we can better prepared. Plus since we adopted two more dogs, we needed a few things for them! So if you love seeing other people’s Amazon hauls as much as I do, this one is for you.

Amazon Haul: My Most Recent Amazon Finds

AMAZON HAUL: my recent amazon finds that I recommend!

4×6′ Waterhog Entrance Floor Mat

Waterhog floor mats are my holy grail because they are so good. They can be pricey, but I’m a firm believer that they are 100% worth it. We recently got this huge mat for our entryway area and it helps so much with keeping the rest of our floors clean. It collects mud, leaves, pet hair and whatever else comes in with us from the outdoors!

Stasher Silicone Reusable Storage Bags

I am really getting deep into my nesting and organizing right now. I’ve been casting a discerning eye around the cabin to make sure that everything we have works well for us… and one missing item was quality reusable storage bags. For so long, we’ve been using cheap ones that I can never seem to close! So I finally splurged on a good set of Stashers and I’m so glad I did.

Sheepskin insoles

Our winter started off with a LOT of snow and it quickly made me realize I needed to add warmer insoles to my boots that I wear for daily chores! These insoles add cozy warmth and a bit of cushion. I love them!

Moleskin Classic Notebook

The journal I used all last year apparently has been discontinued, so I purchased this as my newest one. Moleskin notebooks will always be a classic and I was thrilled to see it in this awesome yellow color that’s a collab with HAY design.

Colored Masking Tape

I use masking tape for all kinds of things! My favorite usage is labeling leftovers and jars of things in the fridge. The bright colors helps us to keep top of mind anything that needs to be eaten soon.

Conair ExtremeSteam Hand Held Fabric Steamer

I absolutely loathe ironing. I think it stems from having to wear a private school uniform and my mom insisting it was ironed. My good friend Albie swears by this steamer instead of using an iron and I am TOTALLY converted now. I’m even steaming our bedding when it’s clean sheet day because it’s soooo nice.

2023 Monthly Planner Refill

Even though it’s January, I am still very much preparing for this year’s vegetable garden! I used these planner pages last year to get organized and it worked out so well that I got another set for 2023. I use them to track the weather, first and last frost dates, when I planted things, when I harvested and so much more.

Personalized Dog Collar

Since we adopted two new dogs, they needed new identification tags and collars (more on them here). These are my favorite collars because it’s so easy to make sure the pets have my phone number on them, plus they have a really fun assortment of color options.

Lucite Lazy Susan Turntables

Another part of my nesting mode is to get the kitchen organized and optimized. These turntables are amazing for the collection of salt, pepper, oils and vinegars that I use daily while cooking.

Mamacita: Recipes Celebrating Life as a Mexican Immigrant in America by Andrea Pons

I had the pleasure of working with Andrea years ago on set, so when I saw she’d written a cookbook I immediately ordered it! The recipes are really delicious and have a really nice range of easy and more complex dishes. It’s the perfect addition to my cookbook collection.

Milwaukee Random Orbit Sander Kit

When we first painted the living room, it was our first time painting with a sprayer. So we have a few drips on the doors that need to be sanded off and repainted. After living with the drips for 2 hours, I decided it was time to tackle this project soon!

Matte Gold Flatware Set

The finish on our existing set of utensils has been coming off for years now… and, again, in my nesting mode I decided it was time to update them. We went with this basic modern set to keep things easy.

O-Cedar EasyWring Microfiber Spin Mop

Bringing two long haired dogs into our life and home has been fun… but our floors definitely need to be cleaned more frequently. I upgraded our Swiffer-style floor cleaning tool to this spin mop system and I love it. It’s soooo satisfying and does a great job.

Fidget Toy Ball

And lastly, my best friend recommended this fidget toy for keeping my hands busy. It’s pretty satisfying to play with and keeps me from some bad habits, like picking at my cuticles.
