Amazon Finds: My Favorite Luxury Candles from Amazon
Did you know that my first job out of college was designing packaging for candles? It’s a little known fact that probably explains a lot about why I love scented candles so much! Naturally, shopping on Amazon is one of my favorite easy ways to find luxury candles. So today I wanted to found up some of my favorite luxurious candles that make our home smell great — and they make great holiday gift ideas too!

When it comes to fancy candles, I always look for 3 things: vessel shape, size and material, fragrance, and price. Some of the candles on this list are definitely a splurge, but given their size and how long they burn it sort of works out in the end. I don’t believe that luxury equals expensive candles, either. Instead, it’s more about the quality. Here are 8 of my go-to scented candles:
LAFCO New York Signature Candle, French Lilac
The scent of fresh lilac is one of my absolute favorites fragrances EVER. It usually doesn’t translate well into candles or reed diffusers and can smell really artificial to me. But THIS ONE! OMG, this luxe candle smells just like a lilac bush. Plus, it’s over 15 oz so it lasts a long time and you’re left with a gorgeous hand blown glass vessel.
LAFCO New York Signature Candle, Spike Lavender
Similarly, I adore any candle that’s lavender scented and this one is my current obsession. It’s like a grown up version of the basic lavender candle. While this is a more expensive candle, I love that you can repurpose the glass vessel after it’s finished which adds value to me.
L’or de Seraphine Marble Collection Candle
If you’re looking for a high end candle that would make a gorgeous gift, I highly recommend this one. The scent is comprised of warm and woody notes that smell awesome. But the real winner is the reusable marble patterned candle vessel that comes with a lid! It’s so chic and perfect for storing things in the bathroom or on my desk when the candle is finished.
Italian Kush Boy Smells Candle
I tend to love earthy scents and this one from Boy Smells is an absolute gem of a find. The scent features bright Italian citrus and fresh-cracked black pepper sitting atop basil and oregano, then it’s grounded in earthy notes of patchouli and fresh cypress. I have found that the scent doesn’t throw as well in a larger space like our living room, so I recommend it for a smaller space.
Votivo Saint Germain Lavender Candle
The quality of this candle is SO GOOD in relation to the price of it! It’s got the most gorgeous lavender fragrance and comes in an adorable, yet simple glass vessel with a bit of adornment.
Voluspa French Cade Lavender Candle
If I had to choose only one lavender candle from this list, it would be this one hands down. Not only does this luxury candle burn so well, it’s got a great jar that can be repurposed and smells incredible. It’s more of a soft, powdery lavender and I find that it’s perfect in pretty much every room. Plus, it’s a huge candle for a good price!
Malin+Goetz Cannabis Candle
No, this candle will not make your home smell like a headshop. But with notes of bergamot, black pepper, and orange it brings exactly the amount of earthiness that I love about fancy candles.
La Jolíe Muse Wood Jasmine Candle
Initially I bought this candle from Amazon before I loved the fluted glass jar with a lid. But now I love it for the gorgeous floral notes and how evenly it burns. It’s quickly become one of my fave Amazon finds.
