Wow — where is summer going?? I can’t seem to wrap my mind around it being July next week. It’s been such an incredible summer here in Seattle and, for real, it feels like it keeps getting better and better. Next week I’m headed to Vancouver with a friend for a little road trip action, too. It’s kinda weird that we’re going to Canada for the 4th of July, definitely didn’t plan that one out really well…

The height of summer is really just the perfect time to wear all white. And, of course, me being me… I need to have at least one pop of color. Enter these gorgeous blue suede heels I scored at Nordstrom Rack for a song. They are simple, elegant, and just quirky enough to fit in with my personal style. I bought them to wear to a friend’s wedding this summer, but you know… you gotta break in the new shoes, right?

Then there’s my new favorite summer piece: this incredible lacy sheer maxi top from Free People. It’s so amazing. Kinda like one part dress, one part tank top, and soooo much boho style. This top is unlike anything else I’ve ever owned and definitely a great addition to my wardrobe. The appliqué and embroidery on it is so perfectly delicate, lending a great amount of texture to an all-white look.
