I’m not sure if I’ve shared just how tiny my house is… it’s a one bedroom and measures just over 640 sqft in total! While it’s not the traditional tiny house you see on HGTV, it is pretty damn small, something that I’ve had to take into account as I make decor decisions. Going from a way bigger loft (catch the full tour of my old loft apartment here) to this small space without a single closet has been challenging. But, if there’s anything I’m truly good at, it’s finding great resources. Today I’m sharing 3 shopping resources for small space living!
First up: Urban Outfitters. Lately, it feels like Urban is really stepping up it’s game in the home decor world. The vibe is casual, boho, pattern-ful, textural, and totally affordable. It’s a key timeframe for this shop right now, with the back-t0-school crowd, but these pieces feel all grown up to me!

Then, of course, there is IKEA… the purveyor of, well, everything simple and Scandinavian. I love this shop for small storage. Think every basket, bin, and container you could possibly want with simple clean lines and at a pricepoint that won’t break your budget. The new Viktigt collection is my personal favorite. The collection boasts raffia in natural and black for laid back boho vibes that still feel a bit modern.
Another favorite is World Market — in fact they have an entire section of their shop dedicated to small space living. There are so many great pieces here with loads of hidden storage, dual functionality, and stylish materials. I love that the vibe feels a bit more industrial.
