beauty report // the April edit

I feel like I’m constantly changing up my beauty routine, testing out new products, and falling in love with them. Here are a few of the beauty products I’ve been loving lately:

Invigorate Bath Salts from Hillockburn Farm (c/0) — I met these amazing folks during the Sodo Flea last month and it was basically a love fest right away. I’ve been using their lovely bar soaps for the past few weeks, but my favorite thing is soaking in these salts. They smell incredible and I find that they help to soothe my aching muscles after a hard workout.

S.W. Basics Rosewater Spray (c/o) — quite honestly, this is the best rosewater spray I’ve used. I got sunburnt last week and sprayed this onto my skin and immediately felt less like my skin was burning with the fire of 1,000 suns. I also find that the fragrance of this is the most true to real, live roses… probably because literally the only ingredient is rosewater.

S.W. Basics Geranium Salve (c/o) — this salve has been great for after I go to the climbing gym. I usually keep it on my desk.

Cloud Paint from Glossier — after using this on my cheeks for the past month, I don’t think I can ever go back to normal blush. I’ve been using Beam and it’s the absolute perfect flush of color that makes me look like I’ve been in the sun, but not like I’m wearing makeup. I absolutely love it.

Lemongrass Essential Oil from S.W. Basics (c/0) — I usually wear fragrance every day and this roller ball has definitely made it into my rotation. Lemongrass is uplifting and bright… I love this for a breezy spring day.

Murad AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser — I’m usually pretty picky about my exfoliators, mostly because I don’t like the idea of the scrubby bits contaminating the oceans. But after all of my gardening, I felt like I really needed a good scrubby cleanser. This one has been working really well for me and leaves my skin smooth without feeling like I’ve removed a layer of my face.

Everyday Coconut Ultra Hydrating Body Wash — I’ve been loving this for my liquid soap use. The scent is really refreshing and I love that a percentage of each purchase goes to an empowerment organization.

Vegan Balm from Hillockburn Farm (c/0) — This balm was also crucial in soothing my sunburn. I’ve also been using it on my heels to hopefully soften them up a bit for sandal season.

I’m with you on the Cloud paint…I ordered two and I’ll never look back. I’m also big on Milk products, hoping to get my hands on the new Mars Holographic stick soon!
