This week has definitely been one of those weeks. Not only do we leave today for warm and sunny Palm Springs (yay!) for a wedding, but I also have loads of deadlines, some last-minute renovation projects that need to be done, and I haven’t even thought about what to wear! But as busy as I am, I know that getting dehydrated will not help anything. I’m definitely a happier, more productive person when I’m hydrated! Recently, Brita was kind enough to send me their new Stream Pitcher and I am pretty much obsessed.
Keeping reading to learn all about what makes the Stream so innovative + get my quick infused water recipes that have helped me kick my soda habit!

How I Stay Hydrated with Infused Waters + My Brita Stream
My studio has a traditional water fountain, but I really dislike using it because the water comes out tasting like chlorine — blech. In the past, I’ve either just accepted the taste out of desperation or have gone without water, resulting in a headache. Now that I’ve got the Brita Stream Pitcher, it filters out any chlorine taste or odor, which is, quite simply put, fantastic. I especially love that this innovation pitcher features Filter-As-You-Pour™ Technology, meaning that the Stream filters your water 10x faster… so really, there’s no excuse not to stay hydrated and happy! I keep the pitcher on my desk throughout the day as a reminder to keep refilling my glass (and, quite honestly, I’m always so surprised by how quickly the Stream filters my water).

I’m still working on kicking my soda habit, so having crisp, clean tasting water in an instant really helps. I satisfy my sweet tooth by infusing my water with fruits, too. Some of my favorite flavor combos include:
- lime + kiwi
- grapefruit + strawberries
- mint + lime
- cucumber + strawberry
- orange + mint
I simply cut up whatever I’ve got on hand, muddle it into a glass, pour in my clean, filtered water, and add a straw. Throughout the day, I make sure to top off my glass as I drink, so that its always waiting for me.

What are your best tips for staying hydrated throughout the day? I’d love to know!
