It’s no secret that I love living in a tech-savvy, well-connected home. In fact, one of the first things I did when I moved in was swap our thermostat to a smart one! So now that it’s time to put finishing touches on our kitchen, I can’t help but think of ways to incorporate technology into it. Thanks to my friends at Delta, our kitchen faucet features some amazing innovations that you’ve just gotta know about.
Meet My New Delta Faucet + Favorite Features & Review
When I visited Delta HQ over a year ago, they walked us through each of their amazing technologies. That was when I was totally, 100% sold on needing this Trinsic® Single Handle Pull-Down Faucet with Touch2O® Technology in our space. Matte Black was the obvious finish option, but what I love most is how reliable and well-made the entire piece is.
Let’s break down each of the features of this faucet that make it so great:
MagnaTite® Docking
The Trinsic faucet we chose features a spray wand that can be pulled into place as needed. It’s so flexible and such a lifesaver… especially for filling vase or washing the dogs. But the best part is that there is a hidden, powerful magnet that snaps it back into place! MagnaTite Docking also ensures that it won’t droop over time, either.
DIAMOND™ Seal Technology
Water is one of the most destructive forces, so during this entire renovation I’ve been SO SCARED that we could somehow spring a leak. Thankfully, Delta Faucet thought of that and innovated the DIAMOND Seal Technology. Basically, what this means is that they have a patented design that reduces the potential for leaks and lasts twice as long as the industry standard. Why diamonds? Because they are the hardest naturally-occurring substance! Now I can rest assured, phew.
Touch-Clean® Spray Holes
I didn’t realize until I owned a house that there are different types of water and that some can cause build up. Lime and calcium build up is a very real issue that can affect the flow of water. With this knowledge, the design team at Delta Faucet came up with Touch-Clean spray holes. Basically, you can wipe away any build up with your fingertips. The spray holes are made of a soft rubber and are easily wiped clean. This means there is no need to soak the nozzle or use chemical cleaners!
Touch2O Technology
And last, but most definitely my favorite feature, is the Touch2O Technology. Essentially what this means is that you can touch anywhere on the spout or handle to start and stop the flow of water! It’s especially life-changing if you cook a lot and need to wash your hands in between steps. Or… it’s handy when you’re washing a dog in the ‘kitchen bathtub’ and need to turn the water on and off. Just ask Lucy…
Also, from an eco-friendly perspective, I love the Touch2O Technology. We’re so conscious of how much water we use and work hard to reduce any opportunity for waste. This technology helps us do this even more.
It’s safe to say that I never thought I’d be this obsessed with a faucet, but here we are. Not only is the Trinsic® Single Handle Pull-Down Faucet with Touch2O® Technology super-sexy and beautiful, but it’s functional and full of awesome technology.
