This Gin & Tonic recipe comes with a bit of a backstory. While shopping on Amazon for novelty molds for our fancy margarita jello shots, I sort of fell down the black hole of novelty ice cube molds, too. Literally, I scrolled through hundreds of options and basically tried to buy them all. Gwen intervened and told me to reign it in! But before that, I found these super cute citrus sippers which allow you to mold your ice around a straw. Pretty genius, huh? With the help of resident recipe expert Claire McAleese, we whipped up a batch of Gin & Tonics with a few special additions.

Citrus Gin and Tonic
Ingredients
- 1 lemon thinly sliced and seeds removed
- Water
- 1 ounce St. Germaine
- 1 ounce gin
- 5 ounces tonic water or flavored sparkling water
Instructions
- Using a fun ice cube mold, place lemon slices into molds and pour water into molds until full. Once filled place the stir stick into mold and place molds into freezer, allow 5-6 hours to freeze.
- In a high ball glass place 2-3 ice cubes, add to this the vodka and St. Germaine. Mix well and add one of the frozen stir sticks with lemon ice cubes. Finish off with tonic water or use Peach-Pear flavored LaCroix sparkling water for a thirst quenching twist to an old time favorite.
